The first step to seeing if something will fit there would be to break out the measuring tape and measure your existing couch. Once you have a rough size you can browse around the web looking for recliners that will fit that space.

Also, measure the width of the door and make sure you can get the couch out and the recliners in. Nothing worse than buying something and then finding out that even though it fits the intended space it won't fit through the door.

I know some recliners come with the backs off, and they just slide on. Did this in my C class and worked great. Some use the Euro type recliner with built in foot rest. Measure is the key, your current sofa should come out even if you have to take it apart to remove. Good luck

Our recliners went in as three sections, right recliner, left recliner and center console.

Mike, this is exactly what we are planning to replace our couch. I am picking up our 2015 Axis 24.1 next week. Can you share the information where you got this recliner love-seat? I am assuming you have 70 inches wide. It is not easy to find this size. Your color is perfect just like what I need. Anything additional information would be greatly appreciated. Removing the couch, installing seat-belts to the recliner and your 3 step process of installing it.

Springer,

We got these thru Camping World's flyer last year. I have the numbers at home. I posted it elsewhere when we were doing it on this Forum (Axis/Vegas MODS...1,2,3 go #396 and #443).

I used the Heritage Reclining theatre seating as seen on page 39A of the 50th Anniversary Camping World Good Sam Flyer.

I listed the part numbers once. I'll get the numbers this evening.

Springer,

I could not find the picture of the ad in the Flyer listed above but here is the information on the MOD.

The parts were:
Heritage Right Arm Reclining Sofa, Beckham Tan #334503 (SKU#83875).
Heritage Left Arm Reclining Sofa, Beckham Tan #334505 (SKU#83876).
Heritage Center Console, Beckham Tan # 334510 (SKU#83878).

Bill was $1015.98 Parts, $178.00 Labor (installed by CW), $100.00 Shipping and $75.32 Taxes...for total MOD COST of $1,369.30.

It has been our most expensive MOD, but one we use each and every time we open the door!

Doc,

The recliners you mention are manufactured by Lippert Components and are part of their Thomas Pane collection. Some of the Heritage line can be purchased from Amazon.

If someone doesn't like the Schwintek slides or the Lippert hydraulic levellers lets they might not want the recliners.

Do the instructions say to hold the button for 3 to 5 seconds after full extension or retract to sync the opera=ator's motor?

Hugh,

Good question. On the 25.2 what is in that area, the dinette? Is it flush to the floor or up on a 4 inch or so riser/platform?

It might be that all your water storage (black and gray tanks) are under the floor there. Might have to mount a riser to the existing floor then mount the recliners to the riser so as not to poke holes in the stuff under the floor.

On the 24.1`the couch (now recliners) are up on the slide which is like a 4 inch platform.

Recliners

You have to be aware if you get recliners,I ordered mine right after tom did and
It took forever, the ones that are being made overseas are 2-3 inches bigger
Than the ones made in the states.what a shit show!!I finally received mine but
The only one they had had heated seats..so it was worth the wait I guess.but
Thier is no extra room on the Vegas.

Your recliner fit thru the door? you didn't have to remove the slide out?

Gracie,

They do fit as they come in three seperate pieces. Our RV is in the shop for some warranty work on the heater so I do not have the color we picked, but it is from the Thomas Payne collection that Jamie posted above.
