I believe all the sites are full hook-up. You will have electric, for sure!

It's a great time of year to be outside in Florida, and we are going to have a great group!

We just bought our retirement home in Ocala (Summerglen) will not be able to make this trip but looking forward to the April18 trip.

Checked in with the campground today, and we now have 11 rigs with sites reserved for October 27-29! There is room for dozens more!

St Johns River Marina and RV Resort is now a KOA campground. The rate for us will be $40/night, and if you have a KOA card, you will get a 10% discount off that rate. Rather than use the KOA website, call them direct during daytime hours at 386-736-6601 to make your reservation.

It's always a good time when forum folks get together! If you are in the area and can't come with an RV, you are still welcome to join us for dinner and conversation!

Interesting, this will be our first KOA campground. We have sort of stayed away from them because of many reasons. Should be an enjoyable weekend. Looking forward to seeing all of our Thor Family friends.

This isn't your typical kids campground, at least not yet. They just took on the alliance, and haven't yet added all the required amenities. There is no pool, but a new shower house/restrooms building has just been opened. Laundry machines are coming, but may not be in place when we arrive. We'll need to bring our own shade. We'll bring our shade canopy.

We have stayed at them in several states, but this is the first we have seen with a riverside bar and grill and a marina included!

Ft. Desoto is a great site. Interesting on the KOA change there- we just had a "KOA" open up near us on Lake Tarpon- this place was abandoned for a number of years and it doesn't look like they did much to reopen it... Amenities are sparce

Do tell. I thought Ft Desoto was a Pinellas County park.
