We have always named our vehicles so our 2016 Axis is "The Beau Bus", honoring Dirk's father with the last name of Beaulieu. We call it BB for short!

Our Axis 25.2 is called the "crate on wheels", or simply "the crate". The primary reason we have the RV is to migrate us, and the dog, from Atlanta to Utah and back twice a year. So, we started calling it the crate because it is the dog crate for moving the dog.

Filling it named it

After filling it up the first time, it was immediayely dubbed, The Hungry Beast. That was shortened in a few weeks to, The Beast. Now, it is just called The Machine.

My husband wanted to name it The Beast too but I just couldn't, as the first car I purchased was a 1973 Black Grand Am and I named it the Beast. Not only did it look like one it was a beast of a gas guzzler. Hmmm on second thought so is my 450 Axis!

We named our Axis "Odie" (short for Odin), the kids are fans of the Thor/ Marvel movies.

Anyone else care to share?
We named ours CYRIL the liscence plate starts with CCRL. We like to try and figure out vanity plate phrases.

Rockwagon - Took the old plate from my band's former tour bus and repurposed it for the RV. Still feels like I'm on the road with the band, except now it's my wife and teenagers.

Not a bad name, could have been worse. "Smokewagon", "Tokewagon"

What kind of music did you play?
With the entire family on board: your new rig might even be louder than a Tour Bus!

Modern rock. Still play a little here and there, but touring days are over now that I'm a "grown up" in my 40s. Haha! Here's the last studio album we did.

We name our Freedom Elite 30FE "Ferdinand the Bull", 'Ferdinand' for short (or maybe even just Ferdie). We were both born in May, are Taurus and it seemed fitting.

Can't wait to take Ferdinand on the road!

I did a little bit of "Googling"...

Nice...
My taste in music usually lands on the unpalatable side...
But I served my "Collegiate Sentence" in the mid-seventies, and got to see all of the coolest bands at the Spectrum, in Philly!
Sabbath, Nugent, B.O.C. Rainbow, Trower, AC/DC, Tull....
if it was loud: we turned it up!

I'm digging the sound of your music!

Thanks for googling that! I did a quick search, but the one I found wanted me to install somethin'. So, I quit. Good sounding band! And, they used an RV in their video!
