Broken Window! Do it yourself??

Something flung a rock and I have a shattered window. Rear, passenger side. I may be able to get a new window fairly quick. Getting it installed is another thing. Anyone ever installed one themselves?

If you are getting a direct replacement piece of glass that will have the upper and lower tracks on it replacement looks to be pretty straight forward.
Just went out and had a look at my Vegas. Looks like removing 2 set screws on top will allow the glass to slide out of that track while sliding the lower opener arms out of their track.
This would be done with the window cranked open . That's how it appears at a quick glance.

If you go to Hehr Internationals website they have a service manual you can download. Not sure your specific window is included but you can check.

I've replaced a window in our 5th wheel but that was a standard RV window; not the frameless type that the Axis/Vegas units have. Not sure how you would replace that.

When I did I went to Camping World's collision center, gave them the make/model/vin of our camper and they figured out which kind of window to order.

Well I didn't do it myself. Total Value ordered the window on Monday and Installed it Wednesday afternoon. If they hadn't got me in so quick, I think I would have tried it.
