Best portable air compressor

I知 looking for a portable air compressor to take along for topping off RV tires and blowing up pool toys. Maybe one that値l run off of electricity and the cigarette lighter outlet if that痴 possible. I have a Harbor Freight pancake type and it won稚 even blow up golf cart tires without having to continuously needing to re-fill the tank.

VaiAir for RVs... VERY expensive. Another poster (dkoldman) bought a small Makita hot dog (VERY quiet) compressor from Home Depot... search the forum. That's the route I would go, but I'm sticking with my existing Bostitch 6 gallon pancake for now, which is extremely noisy, but will easily handle high pressure RV tires.

I have a ViaAir and it has never given me any problems. It’s fast and efficient at filling RV tires and has an easy to read gauge.

ViAir 88P here. Smaller and less expensive than the RV one but works great for my Class C. Excellent compressor.

Great for topping off auto, rv, and bike tires. No problem getting to 80psi.
Not sure how it would do blowing up a big float though.
Cost about $20 (I had a battery).Click image for larger version

I also have a ViAir. A bit pricey, but have had it for years and serves me well. Much smaller than a pancake compressor.

We have a VIVAIR as well. It is also useful to air back up the Cherokee after we air down to improve the ride on forest service roads

I use the Makita all the time. I prefer to go get it out of RV versus using my loud 6 gallon unit in the garage.

Here is my thread on best Electric Compressor

Good luck to OP.
