Joined the cool kids club! XG32 is here!
After much thought we decided on a XG32! Just got it on Friday and hopefully we can go on a small trip next weekend.
Been fixing lots of issues over the weekend and I think we are close to having everything ready to go try it out.
We will be deciding what company is going to build our 20’ enclosed trailer in the next day or two.
Drives almost like a pickup truck. Hopefully ours is not a problem child!

Ours had a few small issues, which they all do, but I took care them myself. Only 1 warranty fix the windows over the dinette rattled, yours will not have this issue it has the new design windows which Thor put in ours last year, took care of the problem.

One of the things I needed to know when I first got my XG 32.
Ford in-cab motion sensors. When you lock the cab with the key fob those arm. Perimeter is the door and window sides of the cab. All sensors is the center and inside the living area too. When you turn the motor off—the dash asks you to select one or both. If you forget the horn will goes off when you move around inside and I did it in two camp grounds at night. So I simply taped over the inside sensors over the mirrors. Left the outer ones to do their thing. No more campground wake up calls.
Best add. The StartX remote starter. It allows me to start the F550 for leveling, battery charging, the slides, and warming the cab without having to go into the cab. $110.00 in Amazon. See my thread on it. Plugs into OBD Port and takes 10 mins to install and hide the wires. 5 star rated product. It just works.
I added two more batteries and another solar panel so I could use the heater on a cold night without the AGS starting up. It will wake you up when that Oman kicks on.
This coach is a rolling car show. So be prepared for the attention.

One other little Gem to be aware of. Only the power plug next to the bed works on the inverter. All the others will work on shore power and the generator. The TV above the dining table works on the inverter (battery) and the one in the bedroom doesn't. We like to watch TV in bed (we have the Dish Joey) so I run an extension cord from the plug next to the bed and watch the TV in the bedroom on inverter.

If you pull the fridge, you can gain access to the outlet for it that is also on the Inverter. You can then easily wire the bedroom TV outlet to the fridge outlet so the bedroom TV can be on the inverter.
I had to remove my fridge to fix a leak in the ice maker water line. There is plenty of room to work and rewire once the fridge is out of the way. That is one of my upgrades this year.... although I wish I would have done it when I had the fridge out the first time.
*Qualifier* It might not be quite as easy to do on the XG32 as it is on the SV34. The bedroom TV and Fridge are all on the slide with the SV34 while the bedroom TV for the XG32 is not and the fridge is on the slide.

Judge. I quickly realized that the refrigerator was moving and the tv wasn’t. So a simple extension cord behind the tv was cheap and it works. I just leave it there. Boondocking I pull it out and on shore power I plug that extension cord into the plug behind the tv. I can live with that.

Great looking RV!
We got our sv34 last July.
Been a great rig so far. Just a few very minor warranty issues.
Have 7k miles on it.
Enjoy!!

After doing some testing I have found that the bathroom sink on my XG32 drains into the black tank and not the grey tank.
Did Thor plumb this wrong? They had the grey and black wiring backwards which I’ve corrected.

The plumbing is correct per the schematics. They do it this way for two reasons. First, the black tank often does not get enough water. It also helps balance the water usage since the kitchen sink and shower tend to get more use and fill the grey tank faster.

If you look at the XG schematics, the shower and bathroom sink drain into the black and the kitchen sink into the grey.

Good catch..... my SV34 has the bathroom sink plumbed to the black tank and the shower to the grey tank with the kitchen sink.
To be honest, I wonder if the schematics are correct. I rarely have heard of a shower going to the black tank. I already found other errors in Thor schematics.
