You made me think of a car jacking in the middle of that snow traffic halt, and the car owner not praying for help but praying for crayons to draw a picture for the thief.

The
Full tank excuse
Is a good and believable one.
I could use that excuse with little(but always some) guilt.
And
Of course the 1/3 tank crew would not have the water to accommodate.

You're right.
Presentment could get anyone in, not just kids.
(Explosive diarrhea guy might require a $600 cleaning deposit.)

Whatever happened to "jump the guardrail"... or use an open door as a privacy curtain? Been there, done that MANY times... even taught the kids. When you don't have a sleeve, learn to blow snot rockets!

We had the damndest time getting the 7 year old grandkid to pee outside.
Environmentally wrong
Unsanitary
Where will I wash my hands and sing happy birthday?
What jf someone sees and has me arrested?
Are there bears?
Then finally,
Waaaaiiit....can I really pee there? That seemz fairly cool. I'll try it!

Frickin' teacher had all but ruined the boy and we didn't get him enough to instill boyness and outside peeing just never came up in conversation in his suburban home..
(He's a tanker in the army now).

When 2 of my grandson's were small they couldn't wait to pee along side the road. They'd go behind the car drop their britches to their ankles facing away from the car & stood proud with their hands on their hips.

Driving south on the 5 in the middle of nowhere I had to pee so I pulled off a long off ramp. Then made a quick sandwich.
Knock on the door surprised us. Nice young lady with her 5-6 year old daughter asking if daughter could use the bathroom. Of course. Like Bill said I'd never deny a kid

But in the lock down traffic scenario most likely a big NO. Maria wouldn't have it

And for the folks that don't use your toilets or showers I don't get that but hey it's your choice

Always shower In our mh. Now if the bathroom is being used and nature calls well then I might make a run for the cg bathroom. Our soon to be new mh has 2 bathrooms so this won't be a problem anymore

Just answer, "Sorry: we didn't fill our water tank before leaving. The toilet can't be flushed".

Wow! That is a tough one! We do use our facilities 100% since I do not like public restrooms at all. But to let a stranger in my home - I am not sure about that.

Wow….
Ok, long story so here goes, 30 some odd years ago, I drove a semi cross country.
When I had to pee, pulled over, and “kicked the tire”. My son was about 1 1/2 years old at this time and still in diapers, yeck, poopy diapers smell. I told him no more ridding with dad while in diapers, he said fine no diapers then, but what do I do if I need a #1 break? I said tell dad you need to “kick the tires”and I will pull over. No more “1 mistakes.”
On day while driving along the interstate he said dad, I don’t need to kick the tires but….I caught on very quickly, I said Oh you need a guardrail break, he looked at me and said YES.
Problem solved.

And for you no paper people, does a shirt pocket count?
Asking for a friend
Terry

Ok my wife and I have a question that no one wants to ask or answer??

When the poster here does #2 we understand the waste goes down the black tank. How does one keep a sealable container from smelling? What about opening and adding #2 tissue?

That’s my line. “I don’t pee on my hands”. Also, unless you have an infection, pee is sterile.

Funny this could be a tough one. depends on if it’s a kid or something. If the roles were reversed and my 5 or 8 year old had to go I wouldn’t knock on the door of someone’s coach. Learned a long time ago and even more important with little kids. Always have an extra set of clothes for them, tissues and wipes, waters and snacks. You never know when something happens. You need to be prepared so just because I have a coach doesn’t mean I should have to open it up to others. It may be the nice thing to do but everyone else is finding a bush.

I haven't peed myself since I was 5.
I remember every step of it.
I'm probably not going to solicit my rv use, but I sure won't deny a kid.
Adults will be weighed, and measured, and found lacking or worth our personal risk.

We carry extra clothes for us in every vehicle.
While neither of us have pooped ourselves since diapers, we have managed to fall in the lake in to cactus and tear our pants OFF, all in the same 10ft of slippery gravel. Both of us, years apart.
We even carry cheap walmart slip on shoes.

And round about Relatedly:

I saw someone in the next checkout aisle over this last summer.. Well dressed, clean, great posture, 60ish. AD featured home type resident by appearance.
She struck up a bit of measured/measuring conversation with the non English speaking 4yr old, full on street-urchin banging on the shopping cart in front of nice-lady.

Nice lady reached out to that grubby matted hair, pulled an unseeable ribbon from under her own perfectly coiffed hair and put maybe the first pretty thing that ball of mud had ever had, in mudballs hair where she could reach and Touch it.
Mesmerized the urchin. Urchin mom smiled. Urchin mom was doing the best she could do.

I slightly accosted nice-lady afterward.
I told her of a man, when I was four, helping my mom, for no reason than to help, load groceries into our Buick wildcat. He didn't hit on my mom. He was polite, didn't smell like a copper miner, wore a bolo tie and had his hair perfectly brillcremed, in the middle of the week. A veritable unicorn on any but Friday and Saturday nights.
Grown men would often walk away from their wife and kids just to stutter a hello to my mom. He did not.

I have weighed gentlemanly acts against him ever since.
I told nice-lady now that I am of the age, I have a bolo tie on almost always, and as I had finally become 'grown up' how I had just now purchased a bullet-bird convertible like he drove, to maybe complete me as a gentleman.

I told her that ribbon may stick in that kids head forever as the best memory for years past or to come, and I thought it to be a very gracious and good thing.(20 seconds total time of me being maudlin)
She said
I know.
It's why I wear them.

You guys:
Open your silly Damn door to a kid in need and certainly about to be traumatized for maybe life.

You never know what sticks with a kid:
The guy who made me poop on myself when I was eight and mom had to wipe me and I had to sit there under McDonald's napkins for 8 more hours and he's there with a whole house on the road and that's why I'm robbing your frickin store!
Or
I remember the nicest people. They really saved me that day. They're why I'm letting you off from this little fender bender.(insert minorest of inconvenience of yours vs major adult trauma) Follow me to Target and I'll buy you some wipes and pants while you call your boss and tell him you'll be absent today. I'll pay for your car towing.
We'll settle up on the accident you caused, tomorrow.

You decide.
We speak of transient workers, and bad drivers, and quality missed, and people who are purposefully stupid and we complain of the younger societies failures.
Don't exacerbate the problem.

No such thing as "under"

It's all OVER.

Question is: OVER the right way? Or OVER BACKWARDS?
