I guess you guys do not worry about gas prices
I calculated my round trip diesel fuel will be around $1200. That really sucks and we all know who is responsible for the price nearly doubling for gas and diesel. It's Hunter's fault. All the fuel went up his nose while he was making private home movies in motels. :-)

I have used two independent repair shops. They have a one per month OEM warranty work only, and this may soon be no OEM warranty jobs. The OEM's do not want to pay for anything except manufacturing line labor time for installing what ever needs to be replaced. It does not matter if half the rig must come apart to get to the item. Second the diagnostic time is almost not covered. Then 180 days later, after approval and the work has been done, they reject the claim. Both shops are tired of it. They then have to call the customer and demand payment. As long as it is an extended warranty from only a few select companies or cash, they don't care how old your rig is. They will do the work.

Is this becoming a trend?

If you have an older RV, you probably know about the 10-year rule at RV parks. This is the rule that bans older RVs from staying at those places. Well now, a 10-year rule at RV service centers is also impacting RVs more than 10 years old

I have been to many parks lately and have seen plenty of older rigs in the sites. Perhaps some of the fancy RV resorts do that but most campgrounds and KOAs, and Sun Resorts allow all ages; not that they might reject one that is falling apart and poses a risk. That said, I did hear about a park in the Keys called the Bluewater RV Resort that allows only class A's.
