Engine or transmission whine at 10k miles

Thor axis 24.1 has developed an engine or transmission whine at 10k miles. Thoughts or suggestions?

Is it at any specific RPM?

Ours has what you'd call a whine but both my prior super duty pickups with V-10s in them also had the same noise so it doesn't bother me (one had 138,000 miles on it when I traded it in and the other 70,000).

It happens when we accelerate, and it just started making the noise

Ah that would be different from the noise ours makes.

A whine when accelerating would imply something in the drive train (trans, drive shaft, axle)--the things that get most of the load during acceleration.

Oh crap, thanks for your thoughts. Hoping it wont be catastrophic in the midst of our trip. We'll check it out. Thanks

Could also be a power steering or altenator whine

Thanks, well check that out. We are weary of all the bugs that come up in this new rv, every trip. We know its just part of it, but what a pain in the butt. We do love the floorplan of this 2013 thor axis 24.1 though!

Whine is worse, at Ford dealer in Oregon. Might be the pump and still under warranty, but no one on the Oregon coast is willing to accept this warrsnty work for a week and a half. Might be able to work us in in 3 days. Yet another trip derailed with yet another issue with this rig!
