Visualizing degrees refrig is off level.

I need some help visualizing
How far off level is this? The spec on my single door 6 cu ft fridge is +/- 6 deg fore and aft and +/- 3 deg side to side.

How do you measure it? Rylan

If your RV is off-level by that much: you'd feel it.
I have a level app on my phone.
I keep my rig within a degree of level with it.

Figure the third side of a triangle by using 6 degrees and the length of your rv.
That'll tell you at a glance if you're less than 6°

If you have a smartphone just download a level app. It will tell you all you need to know. If you have an iPhone the app is built it - Measure. Open the app, select level on the bottom right and set your iPhone on edge. Easy peasey.

I use a conglomeration type app for level. It's called
Smart Toolbox
It does all of the things in the two screen captures I've attached.

The level(there are six or so variations in the app) let's you look through the camera at an object and tilt the phone so it shows you the angle of the object. This will allow you to visually get a grip on what the different degrees actually look like.

I also have a similar app called
Smart tools.
Be a sport and spend the 99 cents or so on the pro versions.

I installed a Level Mate Pro in our RV.

It works a lot like the level apps mentioned above except that the sensor is permanently mounted in your RV. Thus the phone can be at any orientation and still read how the RV is level (it does read out in inches, however, not degrees). It will tell you exactly how high each wheel needs to be lifted for level (once its calibrated). It runs "live" so you can pull it up prior pulling into a campsite and then position the RV at the most level spot prior to even leveling.

(Note: Not an employee or representative of Logic Blue, just find it very useful.)

You can estimate with the 1 in 60 rule:

1 inch in 60 inches will sustain and angle of 1 degree.
1 inch in 120 inches will sustain and angle of 1/2 degree
3 inches in 60 inches will sustain an angle of 3 degrees.
etc
etc

... But who really wants to be solving math equations in a campground?
Just put an app for a level on your smartphone, and let lt make some magic happen!

I pull into a campground and if the refrig is still working on gas and the angle does not bother us we just enjoy our stay.

I just use my eyes. If it looks like the rv is pretty level, I just go with it. Been doing it that way for 25 years without problems. People try to overthink so many things in rving.

That’s the way I do it Harry. If he cabinet doors don’t swing open by themselves, I am level enough.

Back in the TT and 5th wheel days I used graduated levels that were mounted

In the Tuscany the built in levels on the arrows or the bubble work great although it us strictly for preference or comfort

I mounted a small T level (about $3 at a home store) and stuck it to the floor u deer the drivers side window where I can see it while I’m leveling. It’s not a precision instrument but it does the job every time.

I pull to the most level position stop then slowly let off break if it rolls I stop and do it again. I do that until I’m level Takes about two minutes. If the site is very steep I no this won’t work so I get out phone and pads but very seldom
