Axxera AV614 bluetooth MICROPHONE

Tried to search for this issue but search never works for me.
When calling someone on my Axxera av614. The BT microphone seems to work but you have to yell up close into the mic so the the other person can hear you.
Connection on Axxera seems to be good. I Wonder if there is a volume adjustment or maybe I have a bad mic ?

Anyone know about this problem ???

Where is your mic located at. I just got my mh last week. The mic was at the bottom of the dash by my knees. No one could here me. I looked underneath the dash following the mic cable and found about 10 feet coiled up behind the dash. Now I have enough cable to hook the mic to my shirt or just rest it on my shoulder when I need it. Hopefully this helps you.

I have another problem with my mic. It stopped working. I called the manufacturer and was told to do a reset. Apparently there is a small door/window below the volume knob. After opening the door there is a usb plug and a pin hole reset button. You need a paper clip to push the button. This sets everything back to stock.

THe bad part is everything needs to be reprogrammed. Pairing phone, radio stations etc. I'll mess with that later this week.

Our mic is mounted to the dash above, left of the cluster. I was able to adjust the volume on that...but, forget how I did it...I will try to figure it out again !
Anyhow...our mic works well for the driver...and ok for passenger side, but not an issue as we are not huge fans of speaker phone and all the road noise !

I have the same problem. What kind of phone do you have? I have a Samsumg Galaxy Note 5. I took it in to the Dealer. Switched Mic, Tried it in another RV, called the manufacturer. Still does not work. My phone works in other vehicles and My wife's IPhone works fine in the RV.
My only solution I have found is I use my phone on my Bluetooth Garmin GPS.
I keep checking as I have phone updates as I hope one of the updates on the phone might fix the problem. It doesn't make sense but that is what I have experienced.

We have iphones ...
have you checked your interenal settings on your phone re: bluetooth, etc.?
perhaps your phone is not recognizing the hookup or visa versa.

Just bought a windsport, 35m, with the Axxera AV614BH.
People have trouble hearing us on bt phone calls.
Have read here about the mic being under the dash some where, but have crawled under the dash with a flash light, with no luck.
I'm assuming it has one plugged into the back of the unit, otherwise people wouldn't hear us at all ?

our mic was tucked into the molding on the window..it has a fairly long wire...folks have found it in various places !

Had the same problem with my 2017 windsport. Talked to thor, and was told the mic was located on the front of the radio. No external mic.
The tech was also very honest, and said it was all but worthless as a hands free phone.

Has anyone had luck connecting an I phone 7 ,so you can see the IPhone I cons displayed on the radio display. Wondering if its the non apple connectors that do not work. I have tried the I phone 5 as well as an Ipad.
Nothing seems to connect.

I messed with my radio and gave up. I put a mount on the top of the dash and use the speaker phone option. I like the setup because I can have the phone plugged in and can also see the caller ID, lots of people I just plain don't want to talk to!
