Bummer
Did you make a custom rod holder in your 29M or do you store them under the dinette compartment ?

My fly rod and Tenkara rod fit in the shirt closet next to the bed. My 2 spinners fit in the main closet on top of all my wife's stuff. Tackle box in one of the cargo compartments

So I went to my buddies again today to work on his Fleetwood 32H. Third Friday in a row working on it.

Today was the Safe T Plus install. We got a late start and had to run to Harbor Freight to pick up a new impact wrench. We had to drive the motorhome up on ramps, luckily he has a home made pair. Ramps were need to make room to use the impact wrench. Install took maybe one hour. Went fast. I took the advise to get the front wheels as straight as possible. Went for a test ride and drove around Angel Stadium's parking lot. The Angels play tonight and we talked the parking lot attendant to let us in to do the test drive on the level parking lot.

No adjustments were needed. My buddy cant believe how well it drives now. He says its like driving a car. He is very happy.

So dinner at Houston's steak house will be on him after Maria and I get back from our Kern River trip. We leave tomorrow

Jerry

Thanks Jerry...You and Maria and the rest of the guys have fun at Kern River! Take care, safe ride

Spent the last two weeks in Germany, youngest daughter and her husband both in the Air Force and expecting first baby. Daughter ended up having emergency c-section after we arrived but all went well, glad we were there! I now have a beautiful new grandson, WOW!!!

Aussie Grill

I have a question for those that have the Aussie grill that came with your Windsport/Hurricane. I have a 2018 Windsport coming in and they no longer come with the grill. As part of the deal i told them I wanted a grill. I stopped by the dealer Thursday to see how my order was going an they gave me a Aussie Grill, however it didn't come with the gas hose to connect to the coach. The connection on the grill looks like a male quick connect but since I don't have the coach yet I don't know what the connection on the coach is. Can someone tell me what hose to buy.

Thanks,
Kev

If they could come up with a grill I would think they could get the hose too! ExtendaStay, which is available at CW and online, makes a large variety of propane hoses and adapters maybe they will have one that works.

Bet you're getting excited, hopefully it will be soon!!!

Depends whether the grill has its own regulator or not...
Typically I've seen the quick disconnects on the low pressure side - meaning the grill wouldn't have a regulator and want a low pressure feed - but not familiar with the Aussie grill.

If it does have a regulator - you need high pressure (unregulated) connection to RV... Typically a device like 'extend-a-stay' which provides 2 connections - one the 'disposable bottle' type - and the other to connect an aux tank to... A hose that connects the disposable bottle connection to the female quick connect would be needed.

If it doesn't have a regulator - you need a low pressure connection to the RV - typically teeing off any low pressure (after the regulator) line in the coach and adding a shutoff/female disconnect at the end.
No extra hose needed here unless you need an extension - just plug in the grill...
(You could also use the high pressure option and add your own regulator in line just for the grill.)

Depending on where you buy - I have had to add some adapters to get right combination in hose...

The hose that came with our coach has a male on one end and female on the other, you could probably just make your own since it is a low pressure hose. You could also maybe go to a propane dealer, some have the ability to make hoses for you. I made my own several years ago and plumbed in to Rv after the pressure regulator.

Kev,
Did you look in the box the grill came in, assuming it was in a box. I think my hose was inside. Not sure on that.

Either way make them give you a hose that works. Bbq is useless and that should come with it.

Ive never used mine. I use an 18" weber

Dave, Sundance, and his wife Maggie, Maria and i made it to Kernville. The river is flowing really high. The campground cleared out pretty good today. Fishing wont happen in this fast water. Oh well its very peaceful here.

Thank you Jerry, and thank you to everyone else too!!! The emergency c-section was a little scary but all is well and it was a wonderful experience to see that beautiful new baby! Daughter texted today, baby had a blow-out diaper full of what she described was peanut butter, dad had to put on rubber gloves before he would help!!! Lmao, too funny!

Jerry the box was sealed but no hose and a hose is not listed on the instructions as an included item. If the connection on the coach is a female quick connect I think I can find a hose with a male and female connection.

Our hose was in a separate plastic bag curled up and taped to the top of the box. When I can I'll check if the fittings are standard quick connections. MH is still at the dealer, need to check Monday on the progress.
