4 bolts and the doghouse look lifts right off. When replacing just be careful and make sure the rubber sealing strips are still in place. Very easy to do!

Thank you Jim, the rig is in the shop at this moment for warranty work but I will check the cables when we get it back from CW.

I was able to get the music to play on the outside speakers by plugging the thumb drive into the outside TV USB port, changing the source on the TV to USB. Then I selected the "B" output in the bedroom stereo system and I could hear the music from the USB on the outside speakers. But, as I said the TV outside did not recognize most of the music file types.
The DVD player has a USB plug and I was hoping that it would play there and recognize the file types, and I would be able to set it up to hear the music on the outside speakers.

Hmmmm...it would appear the newer 29M's outside TV has the capability of playing on the outside speakers. The 2017's do not. It may be your TV that limits your capability. The TVs Thor uses are generally crap!!

I had to replace our Rayzar-1 antenna...got damaged somehow.
I did notice on the original that Thor didn't have the tab labelled "Front" pointing to the front, so I had to drill some new holes to get it lined up properly, but it's good as gold now.
I have some golf planned for tomorrow.
Getting ready for our next road trip (Bar Harbor, Maine) next week.

My company decided to “retire me” a couple of years ago - a good five years before I’d planned. Decided to make the best of it and bought the MH. Don’t miss work at all. Not even occasionally! I liken it to my college days except with a steady gal (DW), a car (two of ‘em actually and a motorcycle and the RV), steady money and no exams. Life is good!

It looks like you're having a great time, Dave! I hope the water wasn't too cold when you hit bottom! I'm assuming that y'all made it safely over the falls...since you're posting here
We leave Tuesday for some relaxation and trout fishing up in the Sierras.
Cheers!
Kent

Taking the cowl off was very easy, just four screws hold it in. Once off I removed the original insulation carefully so I could use it later. I cleaned the underside of the cowl and form fitted the Dynamat onto it, the stuff is pretty sticky, so be careful, its not very thick but does a great job. I used dynamat tape to seal the edges and seams, then I installed the original insulation and used more dynamat tape to seal that. After I completed that I had enough left over to do the underside beneath the driver and passenger seats. Made a substantial noise reduction.

Battery monitor install
Another Mod bites the dust!! Purchased and installed the Victron Battery Monitor BMV-700 with VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle today and so far I am impressed! I decided not to bore anymore holes in my cabinets so I just velcroed both the bluetooth dongle and the monitor that I placed in a project box on the wall (see pictures attached). Installation of the monitor and shunt was easy peesy!! There is a free app you use with the bluetooth dongle to check the status of your batteries on ur smartphone.
I truly believe this is a must install for all of us, especially when boondocking!!
Make it a fantastic week and safe travels.
PS: 59 days until the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta!!!!
