The best cover option is building materials from Home Depot or Lowes, if not an option where you're located a good cleaning & wax job would be next.
Search "rv covers" on about any forum & you'll find the consensus is "don't cover". They can if in windy, wet areas do more damage than uncovered, not to mention a PITA to put on/off.

Cw has a place selling custom made covers in custom colors.

They're heavy and you get to dance all around the roof and all the things sticking up through it while holding something the size of a clothes dryer at 100 plus pounds.

Don't buy a cover.

I’m firmly in the “don’t cover” camp as well. No matter how careful you are they flap and rub in the wind and they trap moisture and dirt inside. Not to mention that they are very difficult to put on or take off and likely will cause you to skip your winter maintenance items like running the generator monthly or going for a drive every once in a while.

Been covering our Axis in winter since day one.

Haven't had many "too much wind" issues.

Don't have a custom one, just use a standard class C cover.

I cover mine after we get home from our Christmas /New Years vacation
I have had the same ADCO cover for four years now. Its on the coach for about three months every year , only issue I have had go wrong with it is one seam has started to come lose at the thread (i will have my wife sew it...) I have has no issues with it rubbing .

I leave my Thor ACE covered for 7+ months in the summer in Georgia while I'm living in Alaska. I bit the bullet at bought a Goldline from National Covers, definitely the high end of covers.

The second summer under the cover was it for the cover. It almost shredded as I pulled it off. The good news, the coach was in PERFECT shape, inside and out.

Goldline gave me a prorated (fair I thought) big discount on a new cover. It just finished it's first seven months on the coach and one rip happened as I pulled it off. I'm not surprised.

Since I'm gone so long I feel the cover is mandatory. It breathes. I cinch it down with ropes in addition to the straps that came with it. I make sure there will be no chafing in the wind.

Cheaper covers will last one season. Expensive will last two or three. Do the math if you want to cover.

They are big, heavy, awkward and nearly impossible to fold back up when pulled off. Definitely a two person job.

BUT, my coach looks great, smells great when I uncover it every November to head out on the road for the winter.

I'm sold on covering for my specific needs.

Same here: $400 Class C wind/snow/rain repellent Tyvek cover by ADCO for my 2016 Thor Vegas. Fits snug, so no rubbing, no damage. Has vent holes at the top to prevent moisture build up inside. Takes 45 min to put on/remove. I store it in a 65 gallon wheeled garbage bin.

I had mine Ceramic Coated
It's a Wax job with a Ceramic Coating product
Claims to protect for 5-7 years and makes cleaning much easier
I'm hoping his will help during the Hot Blistering Sun of So NV

I was looking at covers in the local RV dealer's parts department and the parts guy recommended to me to not buy one or cover it. That's coming from the guy who sells them and for the same reasons other commentators cite.

Joined the cover crowd.
The DW wanted to cover this rig. I didn't want to cover, never covered the last one.
Some battles are not worth fighting. Got an ADCO cover. Had the grandson climb on the roof and we had it installed 25 minutes. Seems to fit tight will keep an eye on it sits in the drive next to the house shouldn't get too much wind

Still using mine. Will take it off this weekend ....been covered since first week of January.
I have one more rip but that's my fought because I didn't add the pieces I had from the previous years to the slide topper ends.

How many 'old' people use covers? I wanted a cover when we bought the new coach a couple of years ago, but the wife said it would be a pita climbing to the roof to put it on and off. She has also read of how they can accelerate wear on the finish.

Same here... Mine is Tyvek. End of October I wash, wax, treat all rubber seals and other maintenance, thoroughly clean inside, then winterize. I cut a hole in the cover's top to expose one of my solar panels. Then attached the edges under the panel with Velcro. After 2 years of spending 5 months under the cover, it's WELL worth the effort - pull the cover off and store first of April, de-winterize and off we go. Being in Ohio I usually have to watch for another freeze in April. 🤬
