Got gas?

I am darn glad I am not on the road in the southeast states!
Hope all my fellow RV'rs out there are either home or sitting tight till the supply gets back to normal. I couldn't imagine sitting in those lines in a rig and finally getting to the pumps to find out they are out. Looks like 1973 all over again

No doubt: 1973 looks more and more like the unpleasant memory that is resurfacing.

We are in the Outer Banks, NC. All gas stations are empty.

Thankfully I keep our toad tank full all the time so we can do everything we wanted to do here and we have plenty of diesel to get us home to Knoxville TN in the motorhome. A lot of campers stressed as they don't have gas to get home or even to get started.

Just hang in there: the juice is on the way...
Sit tight for about 4 days: the stations will start getting deliveries soon.

We topped off our Aria 2 weeks ago in preparation for our EOM vacation. 70 gallons was $225. Glad we did so before the cyber attack!

Plenty of gasoline here at home in Knoxville so hook up the toad and come on home.

Have you gotten into the TDS fuel program? 225 for 70 gallons is too much. My last fillip a couple weeks ago I paid 167.00 for 60 gallons. Since I fueled at Loves the discount was lower than TA but it’s what was available.

Plenty of gas in Houston in my area. I filled up at $2.559 a couple of days ago. I suppose we could have opposite problem caused by pipeline shutdown — not sure how they store excess or if they can stop manufacturing that quickly.

Thanks Bob. We don't plan on cutting this vacation short. I don't sweat this stuff too much. Lol. I had a friend text and said most stations on Kingston Pike were empty.

This was a panic induced shortage, nothing else. The panic was so contagious that gas stations in central Florida, an area not supplied by the Colonial pipeline, were also running out of fuel. The news last night showed idiots putting gas in plastic bags in their trunks by "gas hoarders".

East coast NC from Cherry Point to Camp Lejeune, every station was out of gas on Monday!

Was like watching people buying up all the toilet paper!

Traveling through NC right now. Left Mt. Airy ("Mayberry") yesterday and now in Greensboro for 2 days. Oh, the beauty of diesel. When stations are out (yesterday) the diesel pump, standing alone on it's own, was good to go. I've got over 600 miles to get back home in PCB. Should have no issues as the diesel pump islands behind the truck stops will not run out. Truck stop diesel is on the priority list when shortages happen. BUT...for the gas burners...it's nuts...outages and lines down the street at most places.

In Virginia about 45% of stations are out. My favorite station was out yesterday but I was able to fill up with no lines at the station right around the curve. Cost about 10 cents more per gallon than a few days ago.
