just saw these below. Still not sure of this one. waiting for company response!!:
Q: My tires maximum pressure is 80 psi. Will this monitor work?
A: Yes it will work. It tops out at 100 psi.
By Jthom1957 on February 19, 2021
----------------------------
Not useful for RVs with tire pressures above 100 psi.
By Joachim van Hulst on November 23, 2020
…The accuracy is not great, but even worse, tire pressures above 100 psi are not accepted.,Additionally, as of 100 psi I am receiving a loud alarm. Not useful for RVs at this tire pressure level.
-----------------------------------------------------
The TPMS worked as advertised on my 32 foot class A with six wheels. Using the display is a bit frustrating and not very comprehensive. The instructions are difficult to follow. After playing with it, it did the job of telling us tire pressure and temp. Max tire pressure displayed on the unit was 99 psi, and since our tires are spec'd at 82 PSI cold, the alarm went off as expected after the tires warmed during driving (i.e., travelling 70 mph, the tire temps can easily rise to the high 90's and sometimes above which is normal). Display is difficult to read without getting close to it (i.e., can't read easily from an angle). Otherwise, it does the job. see less

I don't get the Solar requirement for a TPMS. The current the TPMS draws from the alternator is probably less than 1 amp at 12 VDC. You connect it to a switched power source and a good TPMS automatically turns on when you start the coach, and turns off when you shut the engine off. The battery stays charged so you can turn it on if you don't want to start the engine and as long as it's not a motion activated sensor, you get your tire readings in a few minutes.

I use the "BLU TPMS" system:
https://techbyblu.com/products.html
6 sensors, max 150 PSI (I've seen that set on Amazon for ~$200).

The system is entirely bluetooth low energy and uses a phone/tablet app to report back tire pressures (alarms, etc.).

I have a dedicated tablet in the RV that runs the app and the LevelMatePRO's app for levelling (I also use it to download google maps to for navigation backup). The tablet has no issues seeing all 6 sensors on our Axis.

The other benefit, for me, for using bluetooth LE is that I could reverse engineer the signal the sensors were sending and write my own app LOL.

I just program the sensor to the respective tires’ pressure and my TPMS does the rest. I use the TireMinder TM77

Use 20% high pressure, 5% low pressure to start.
Your rig will vary but I use 130 degrees high temp here in Florida. I have to take any valve stem TPMS temperature with a grain of salt - I'm much more concerned about pressure.

Keep in mind the degree of accuracy. A good pressure gauge can be plus or minus 2 PSI. Some TPMS systems state plus or minus 3 PSI. So getting started you could be 5PSI off.

When I bought my TireMinder system the folks at Minder Research went around in circles and they had to replace 3 of my 10 sensors because they were not within their stated range of accuracy. It helped that I use their stick gauge which they warrant to be accurate to within plus or minus 1 PSI.

Invest in a good pressure gauge before buying any TPMS. Money well spent.

Hi Scubawise,
Loud enough to get your attention, and adjustable. My wife heard it from her seat on the passenger side . You can see the PSI as it rotates through each wheel (on a continuous cycle). I admit it's hard to see which wheel is being flashed because the screen diagram is small; however, if you get an alarm you can quickly pull over and remove the unit from the mount for a close-up view if needed.

Yes I have that brand with 6 sensors. Just make sure the Tymate has a high enough tire pressure for your unit. My new motorhome is close but never went off. It was perfect for my old Jayco on the Ford 450 chassis
