Glad to read that you found a workable solution.

How is it attached at the bottom?

The tellaro bumper is only 3" high to mount on (mounting holes of tube are about 5" apart) and would block the trailer hitch if flush with the top of the bumper.
Picture from lower angle might help.

I just ordered a storage tube on Amazon that mounts under the rig. Prior to this I just used the bike rack. It fits nicely there.

Here are some closeup photos. It doesn't block the hitch at all. There is a metal bracket that attaches to the bumper then the actual storage tube attaches to that.

Can you please provide some details on the hardware you used and how you mounted the bracket to the bumper? Much appreciated.

Hi James,
Do you have pics? I have the same model and am entering the discussion late. I agree with you that what Thor did was a joke. They have a checkbox for hose storage, but it is useless. The Travatos have issues to and I have seen some of them modify the storage, but our door is not big enough to fit the elbow or connections. Our solution is to add a hitch cargo carrier with a toolbox and I will add the same tube you are talking about on the outside, but I would prefer to mount the hose carrier underneath the vehicle for smaller distance trips when I don't want to bring the hitch cargo carrier. Garage storage is definitely a problem. Also I don't know if you are aware but there is no spare tire and no jack. To me this is a bigger problem to solve. We don't use the bike rack and I might find something for that. Funny thing is I used to be a fabricator. My wife will let me fix our motorcycles, jet skiis, replace all windows in the house, but she will only let me purchase stuff for the vehicle and not fab it up myself. Go figure.

I will be posting another video soon of our spare tire solution. But in general, it is a 2 part process. When towing the trailer, the spare and tools will be on the trailer. When not towing we will be using a hitch mount for the spare. I will be posting the info around the rim, tire, jack, and tools as well.

Sewer Hose Storage

Here is info on caps and the hangers I used. The hangers say 1" diameter but they fit pretty well on the bike rack. I thought about using long zip ties instead but went with the hangers. I cut the u-shaped threaded rods down to fit so that it did not hang out from the rack. I had to purchase additional nuts to get everything secured. Oh btw the u shaped rod has metric threads so don't spend all you time in the SAE section trying to find nuts that fit. :-) I suspect that there are cheaper ways to store the hose, but I could not find any that also would store my elbow adapter outside of RV. This approach does both. I could only get the pvc pipe in 10' sections so I had to cut it down. For my 10' hose and the elbow I needed 44" so that is how long mine is. Depending on your hose you might want to do a different length. Good Luck.

Sewer Hose Storage

Picture of hanger connection and inside of storage tube with end cap open. Shows blackwater adapter elbow with plenty of room to spare.

Thanks a lot for this, love the creative work there. I haul a scooter so not sure there is room for the hose in that spot. I am going to check it out though and see if I can make this work.

Well if the tube is only 4 inches on the ProMaster, is it possible that the area directly behind the door is slightly bigger to have the fitting of one end there ?
I guess if the fittings are removable, like a Prest-O-Fit, can that fit with one end removed ?
Is the tube only long enough for a 10' hose ?

See images of ProMaster opening, and what someone else did on a Tellaro with
4 inch PVC handling a hose easily, becasue the hose would not fit ?

Confused, what the issues are ?
